Why Chris Hill?

There are others teaching addiction recovery. However, Chris is different in that his teaching is:

  • From his own addiction journey spanning 20 years
  • From his own 100% successful recovery
  • From having tried and tested his teaching and helping hundreds of people through his recovery model, and thousands of people through his book and 7-Day Beat Addiction plan.
  • Chris talks to you from a genuine place of wishing you nothing but a complete recovery and for you to gain control of your life and live well and happy.
  • His caring and compassion for others is demonstrated in his approach and contributes to the success of his teaching.

What’s so different about Chris Hill’s programme?

  • It does NOT involve the use of willpowerIt is in no way ‘fear-based’
  • It does not involve religion or spirituality
  • Change is achieved quickly

What you will learn

  • You will learn how to ‘change or reprogram your mind permanently’ to no longer want or need to take any substance or participate in any activity that is harming your health and wellbeing.
  • About your subconscious mind and how it works.
  • How your subconscious mind, body and conscious self interact with each other once an addictive substance or activity is introduced.
  • Identifying your reasons for wanting to change and then making a contract with yourself to make the change happen.
  • What your comfort zone is and how any life-change requires you to escape it. And how to escape and keep moving forward.
  • How your conscious self (the part of you that decides how you’d like to live life) speaks to your subconscious mind to achieve a permanent life change. Give up and addiction, fear, stress and anxiety.
  • How to be in control of your decisions.
  • How to successfully ‘self-talk’ for change. A bit like ‘campaigning’ your own mind to create a change of mind. NOT to encourage willpower, but to ENSURE a complete change of mind about the addiction or fear etc.
  • How to get through the withdrawal period.
  • How to return to your normal life, friends and family and social activities.
  • How to plan a new life for yourself and make it happen!

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the course start and finish?

The course is yours for life, so you can come back to it and reuse it for other life changes, addictions and habits.
How long do I have access to the course?
After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
Can I use this programme to stop any substance?
This programme is suitable to achieve the learning that will free you from addiction to any substance or activity. However, if you are a heavy drinker or are looking to stop Opioids such as Heroin or Benzodiazapine-based medications such as some anti-depressants; it is vitally important you consult your doctor before commencing withdrawal. Chris Hill

My name is Chris Hill and I'm an addiction expert. In 2014 I lost my twin brother to alcohol and drugs. It was and still is, the most horrendous, painful experience imaginable and I hate the thought of other people suffering in this way.

My own life has been a journey through all kinds of addictions, starting with smoking my first cigarette at the age of seven through to taking crack cocaine and heroin some 20 years later. I always knew there was something fundamentally wrong with what I was doing but I had no way out, or so I thought!

By nature, I am a very determined person and I went in search of the answers to solve my problems. I began reading books based on addiction, I tried various medication issued by my doctor, and I attended addiction clinics and recovery programmes to try to end my cravings for the drugs I was taking. None of these worked long-term.

I educated myself more and more and began to understand the subconscious mind, until I eventually found the answer to beating addiction for good. I have now made it my mission in life to educate others to escape addiction.

WARNING - Stopping substances and medications

Chris Hill is not a doctor, psychologist or nutritionist. He is someone who has been through all kinds of addictions and found his way out to live a completely addiction free life; and is now sharing the knowledge of how he achieved that and the programme he developed.

If you have been addicted long-term to any substance, please consult with your doctor before commencing withdrawal, especially if you are on any medication associated with the addiction. Your doctor will advise you on the best way to stop which may include a period of tapering or planned reduction. Please do not attempt to do this on your own without the advice of a medical professional.

WARNING regarding stopping alcohol

Suddenly stopping drinking alcohol may cause serious alcohol withdrawal symptoms, especially if you are drinking heavily or are alcohol dependent.

Not everyone who drinks will experience serious side effects if they stop altogether and quickly. Many people have successfully stopped drinking using my programme with no ill effects at all. However, it is not worth the risk.

Please consult with your doctor on how you may be able to stop drinking alcohol safely and then you can use the methods I teach on my programme alongside the advice your doctor gives you.

WARNING regarding stopping Opioids such as Heroin or Benzodiazepine-based medications

Please consult with your doctor before commencing withdrawal, especially if you are on any medication; including anti-depressants. This is particularly important for anyone giving up Opioids such as Heroin or Benzodiazepine-based medications.

Information from

Dr Sarah Jarvis of Drinkaware’s Medical Advisory Panel points out that "psychological symptoms are very common, and not just if you're a really heavy drinker. You can have short-term problems even with relatively low levels of alcohol consumption if you've become used to drinking really regularly.”

Psychological symptoms can include irritability, poor concentration, feeling shaky, feeling tired, difficulty sleeping or bad dreams. Physical alcohol withdrawal symptoms including trembling hands, sweating, headache, nausea, vomiting, palpitations and lack of appetite are less common, but are often a sign that the sufferer was drinking at worrying levels.

Severe physical side effects include convulsions, confusion, fever and even hallucinations. If you experience physical withdrawal symptoms of any kind, you should see your doctor as soon as possible.

Your doctor may be able to prescribe medication that can help with alcohol withdrawal symptoms, and will be able to refer you to a specialist alcohol team for support. They can also offer counselling and psychological support, and can put you in touch with local support groups to help you stay on track.
